Are you a history buff with a keen eye for fashion? Well, The Met’s recent Instagram post might make you gasp with joy. Inspired by The Met’s (The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York) exhibition, The Tudors: Art and Majesty in Renaissance England, these nail designs are each a magnificent work of art and needless to say, a huge fashion statement. The brain behind the unique nail art is Tahvya Krok, a California-based nail artist. Krok has used The Met Store’s J. Hannah Royal Tudor Nail Polish Set, comprising three colours tilted Bijoux, Relic, and Velour, all inspired by the rich Renaissance colour palette. What makes it so difficult to scroll past the post is not only the unique Tudor-era-inspired vintage designs but also the impeccable precision and attention to detail shown by Krok. The nail art has blown away netizens as well, and several comments in the post urged The Met to make press-on nails with Krok’s designs. Now that’s an idea we want The Met to execute ASAP (no pun intended)!
