We’ve all heard of dopamine dressing but dopamine nails is the styling trend we’re looking to explore this summer. The idea behind the two trends is the same —to instil a rush of happiness in whoever is wearing it or seeing it. However, it’s not just about loud, neons or bright reds. Dopamine nails have a focus on colours but they also involve smart pairings and fun, wearable and mood-lifting nail art.

“People are trying to temper the anxieties of 2020 and looking for lightheartedness and fun in all aspects of life, but especially in regards to beauty," says nail artist and manicurist Rita Remark. So go for happy, cheerful hues and pair them with equally vibrant nail art.
