With winter raging on in full swing, why should coffee and chai be the only beverages hogging all the attention? The Telegraph went around the city to search for winter cocktails that will give tea and coffee a run for their money. Here’s getting you the deets:
Zinfandel Rose and Dragon Fruit Sangria at The Salt House: This winter cocktail is a special one made with two kinds of dragon fruit and fresh ingredients such as cucumber zest, homemade orange liquor and even curry leaves! The sparking rosè adds the perfect fresh twist balancing the sweet and sour flavours at the Shakespeare Sarani address. @Rs 725-plus
Café Brulee at Effingut: Need a pick-me-up? Here’s what you need. Slow brewed espresso (80 per cent Arabica and 20 per cent Robusta) with fresh vanilla, aromatic bitters and dark chocolate meets vodka, along with egg white or veg aqua faba for texture. The top is then caramelized with brown sugar, fresh nutmeg and cinnamon with creme brulee torch and served in a coffee cup and saucer with a flamed marshmallow at the newly opened Park Street joint. @Rs 595-plus
