Dustbins to segregate biodegradable & non-biodegradable waste were distributed at various parts of the city on Tuesday. The Kolkata Municipal Corporation has taken an initiative to make people aware about segregation of waste at the source of generation. As a part of this initiative, the KMC is handing over a green dustbin for biodegradable waste and a blue bin for non-biodegradable waste to every household
