Local favourite Rohan Sharan sealed the Patna Masters 2022, the 10th leg of the Indian Golf Union's (IGU) Eastern India Amateur Golf Feeder Tour, at Patna Golf Club. The tournament was held on August 20 and 21, with participation from more than 50 golfers across India.
Sharan shot 5 over par 147 in both rounds of golf, five shots less than Chittaranjan's Sahil Kumar Singh. Despite the fact that Patna Golf Club is Singh’s home turf and having won the amateur division of the same event last year, he failed to capitalise on it.

Protouch SportsAnother notable performance was put forward by local star Vijay Kumar in the Mid-Amateur Category, where Kumar shot 165 and defeated one of the tournament's biggest stars, Hyderabad's Abhishek Mitra, by just one shot.

Protouch SportsAmong the seniors, Prayagraj's Deen Bandhu Singh, an officer with Indian Railways, won with a score of 173, followed by Patna's Captain A.K. Jha on 195. Jha won the super seniors title with a score of 195, followed by S.C. Singh of Patna, who shot 200 in the combined score across both rounds.
In the ladies’ division, veteran golfer Neel Kamal Ranjan won with a score of 214, followed by Patna's emerging golfer Anusha Kumar on 264.
