Devotees take a holy dip in the Hooghly during Banga Kumbh Mela at Kalyani, Nadia district on Monday. Triveni Sangam has a rich history of reverence in Hinduism as the place is the confluence of three mythological rivers. One can find multiple Ganga ghats, Shiva temples and ancient buildings with architectural terracotta in Tribeni. The three-day kumbh Mela began on February 12.
