3/6 Milan Utsab was inaugurated on Friday by Kolkata Municipal Corporation’s mayor Firhad Hakim. The seven-day utsab will end on February 16. People can visit the fair between noon and 9pm. Apart from career counselling stalls, there’s a food court where various cottage industry items are on display. There are over 150 stalls. Even as winter has retreated, the weather is fine and the footfall on the opening day was encouraging

Located in Hooghly, Triveni Sangam has a rich history as the place is believed to be the confluence of three mythological rivers. One will find several Ganga ghats, Shiva temples and ancient buildings with architectural terracotta in Tribeni town. The three-day Kumbh Mela in Tribeni will begin on February 12, 2023. Seeking to restore the heritage of Tribeni and revive the glory of Kumbh, Tribeni Kumbha Parichalana Samity backed by Bansberia municipality organised the Kumbh Mela in 2022
