Bangladesh Maitri Utsab was held on Monday at the Calcutta University Institute Hall by the Bangobondhu Research and Cultural Foundation. Discussions on 'India's role in the liberation of Bangladesh' were held. A book was also launched and saplings were distributed as a mark of friendship. Sikder Mohammad Ashraful Rahaman minister (political) and head of Chancery was present at the programme with dignitaries of both the countries
