A tram parade was organised on Sunday morning from Gariahat tram depot to Shyambazar to celebrate 150 years of trams in Kolkata. The parade raised awareness about the need to save trams as they are an eco-friendly mode of transport. Trams dating back to the years between 1924 and 1975 were present at the parade.
