The film festival was held across 10 venues in Kolkata from December 15 to December 22. A total of 183 films from 42 countries were screened

An exhibition on Satyajit Ray's works and talk shows and workshops were held. The festival opened with Hrishikesh Mukherjee's Abhimaan starring Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan
