Next on the delish delights are the macarons — the star item at Laduree. They come in flavours like pistachio, Madagaskar vanilla, rose petal, salted caramel, coffee, lemon, Ispahan, strawberry candy, chocolate and Marie Antoinette. The assortment of flavours comes at a pocket pinch of Rs 242 each. Another variant, the dark chocolate macaron coated with raspberry, comes at Rs 275 each
What’s Christmas without cakes? The tea cakes here have two flavours to offer — rose cake and chocolate cake. The rose cake has crystallised rose petals and is soaked in rose syrup. The chocolate cake is made with dark chocolate and is soaked in cacao syrup. The tea cakes are priced at Rs 195 per slice, and Rs 995 for a loaf
The macarons come in gift boxes too. The Napoleon collection of six macarons come at Rs 1,900. The Prestige collection, which has four types of boxes under it with 24, 30, 40, and 54 macaron boxes, are priced at Rs 6,500, Rs 7,800, Rs 10,500, and Rs 13,500 respectively. The other two options of gift boxes are Napoleon III collection with 12 macarons, at Rs 3,600, and Arabesques with 8 macarons at Rs 2,500
The macarons and Eugiene, along with the chocolate, come from Switzerland. The pastries are made following the recipe from the OG shop in Paris.
