School kids celebrate Halloween at US Consulate Kolkata

US consul-general in Kolkata Melinda Pavek shared her Halloween experience with the children

Seventy-five underprivileged children got the chance to celebrate Halloween at the US Consulate Kolkata on Tuesday evening

It was a first-ever experience of Halloween for the children aged between 7 and 12 years

The children enjoyed the games, thrills, and endless rounds of trick or treat

The children were mostly from Samaritan Help Mission, Loreto Rainbow, St Stephen’s School, Bowbazar, and Barisha Janakalyan

American Center director Elizabeth Lee welcomed the children and US consul-general in Kolkata Melinda Pavek (in picture) also spent time with the children and shared her Halloween experience

Witches’ hats, dinosaur and Black Widow were among the children’s favourites on the evening
