Fun trip
Students of Lajpat Public School had a great time during their school trip to Puri. Nineteen students from Classes to VIII and three senior teachers accompanied the students on our trip.
We were lodged in a hotel by the sea and we rushed to the beach at every opportunity. We also visited the famous Jagannath temple.
The trip to the Chilka lake was the highlight of the trip and all children had a great time with dolphins surrounding us. We were also taken to Dhaulagiri, the site of the Kalinga war. A visit to the Konark temple and the Udaigiri caves made for a very educative tour.
All of us have learnt a lot from the trip and we are looking forward to more such excursions in the future.
