Clueless about missing girl

Chaibasa: Police are yet to trace the 17-year-old girl who was kidnapped nearly seven months ago.

Itishri Rajak, a resident of Sonua block of West Singhbhum, was reported missing from home since June 10, last year. She was an insurance agent in a private company at Charkradharpur subdivision. The girl?s sister Satyanama Rajak claimed that Sonua police filed an FIR 10 days after the incident. ?We suspected two youths from our village, Khitiz Pradhan and Shriniwas Rao, of being behind the abduction. The duo contacted my sister over phone and asked her to meet them to discuss some insurance policies. My sister went to meet them at Sonua block. And that was the last time we saw her.?

She added that Pradhan, who owned a drug shop at Sonua, had earlier teased her sister. ?My sister had slapped him once. Pradhan, a father of three, had threatened her,? said Satyanama.
