Ranchi, Oct. 6: Ranji player Shabbir Hussain will lead the Ranchi District Cricket Association (RDCA) senior district cricket team in the elite group inter-district cricket tournament to be played at Dhanbad.

The selectors today announced the 15-member team that includes Subroto Ghosh, Arun Vidyarthi, Anshuman Raj, Mohit Goyal, Sidhartha Raj Sinha, Arkraj, Ghulam Rabbani, Manoj Singh, Santosh Lal, Dilip Yadav, Rahul Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar, Kundan Kumar and Rajesh Sinha.

The Ranchi District Cricket Association has prepared a list of 28 probables, which comprises many junior players who have been included to gain experience in company of their seniors, Ranchi District Cricket Association secretary Sunil Singh said.

The team will practise on Saturday from 7 to 9 am and will leave for Dhanbad by the Vananchal Express at 1.30 pm. Ranchi plays its first match on against Palamau October 8.

Praveen Chandra Deogharia will accompany the team as manager.
