Ranchi, July 26: The DAV school management has failed to submit old provident funds (PF) records to the city-based PF offices, despite several notices.

It has not submitted the documents that the PF office had demanded so that it could know the exact numbers of employees getting PF benefits since the establishment of over 60 schools in different parts of the state.

Regional director of DAV group of schools R.L. Saini admitted the fact saying it was not his responsibility to provide old documents.

?Before April 1, 2005, all provident fund contributions, including the money for PF pension schemes of DAV employees, were deposited in DAV Trust at New Delhi. All details have been sent there. Hence, any document relating to the provident fund of DAV employees can only be procured from the DAV Trust,? he said.

The PF office had sent notices to DAV College Trust and Management Society, Chitragupta Marg, New Delhi, three months ago.

The office sent the notice when it came to know that the DAV schools management deposited the amount under the PF pension scheme in its trust, in violation of the rule that says the amount should be deposited in the PF offices operational in the areas where the schools exists.

A senior PF office employee said the DAV group first refused to accept the PF Act applicable for their schools but later established a trust to collect the PF amount, including the amount for the PF pension scheme.
