Ranchi, Jan. 8: Joining the big league in real estate, Ranchi is set to witness super deluxe flats with rooftop swimming pools and air-conditioned health clubs soon.

But the four bedroom flats planned according to Vaastu and many USPs on a par with international standards will come at a price of Rs 1 crore.

Retired engineer C.K. Jaiswal, who is building a superdelux multi-storied residential building, Anand Towers, at Morhabadi says it is not an apartment, but a big house where many families will live a comfortable life.

“I have demolished my 6,000 sq. ft house to build this bigger house where there will be only two units of 3,800 sq. feet on each floor. I will retain three floors for my sons and sell the 12 others.” he said.

The construction of the house began early this year and would be completed in 18 months, he added.

Most of the houses are already booked, he added.

Beside the rooftop swimming pool (35 ft x 18 ft) and an air-conditioned health club with modern gadgets, the other USP of the apartment will be close circuit television systems with a surveillance camera for a 24-hour intelligent security system.

A 24-hour video door-phone system with intercom facility, modular kitchen with chimney, solar heating system, 70 ft x 70 ft garden and a rose garden all around will be the other key attractions.

Each house will have four bedrooms, four toilets, drawing room, office space, dining-cum-family lounge and a big balcony.

There will also be an impressive entrance hall with a public address system.

Since mono lifts do not require lift rooms on the roof, the rooftop will be an open space.

Water harvesting by way of recharging waste and rainwater will also be possible.

Ranchi is also to get a triplex soon. S.N. Singh of Siddhi Developers is setting up 12 triplex, each spread over 3 kothas of land at Morhabadi. Each triplex will have four bedrooms spread over 2,268 sq. ft.

The triplex will cost about Rs 40 lakh and are meant for people who want individual space that is not possible while living in apartments.

Many people have special inclinations towards religion, spiritualism, health, studies or even parties.

The triplex will allow them to use the second floor for such activities. It is also a good option for big families, Singh said.

The triplex will be built on a trial basis, he said. If there is a demand, more such triplex apartments will be built in the future, he said.
