Calcutta, April 21: RSS chief K.S. Sudarshan today praised Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee for highlighting the issue of fundamentalism and separatist forces active in the state but said the Bengal chief minister has ?suddenly became silent on the issue?, says a staff reporter.
Sudarshan said Muslim fundamentalists were active in Assam and Bengal and have been planning to strengthen their bases with the motive of forming a Muslim state.
?Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee is also well aware of the development and took up the issue with the previous Union government. But suddenly he has become silent about the issue,? he said.
