New Delhi, Nov. 27 (PTI): The Kalka-Shimla rail link will feature in the Unesco museum in Switzerland with the Indian Railways joining hands with the Swiss mountain railway to promote and preserve the 19th-century heritage line.

Chennai (PTI): A judicial magistrate will look into a complaint of the rape of four tribal women by policemen in Tamil Nadu’s Villupuram district. On November 26, four policemen allegedly raped the women after they had come to a police station seeking the release of a relative.

Kanpur (PTI): A 27-year-old woman was injured when four persons allegedly threw acid at her on Saturday, police said. The men first tried to drag her into an SUV. When she resisted, they threw acid at her. She has been admitted to a hospital. A medical examination will be done to ascertain if she was sexually assaulted. One person has been arrested.
Chennai (PTI): A 44-year-old man was arrested from a Pune-bound flight at Chennai airport on Saturday in connection with a recent seizure of red sanders logs worth Rs 60 crore in Delhi. A.T. Mohideen Ibrahim was to be taken to Delhi.
Hyderabad (PTI): Three senior doctors of the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences have been suspended for allegedly allowing an undertrial prisoner to overstay in the hospital, sources said. The trio allowed Jairam Reddy to overstay in the hospital for 43 days between September and November last year, though he was fit for discharge.
