Deputy chief minister R.C. Laloo has been reallocated with food civil supplies and consumer affairs, elections, revenue and disaster management, home (passport), reorganisation and science and technology.

Moreover, the chief minister has reallocated the crucial home (police) department to H.D.R. Lyngdoh, which was earlier held by Roshan Warjri. Lyngdoh will also look after transport, general administration, animal husbandry and veterinary departments.

However, Warjri will be the new minister for health and family welfare, higher and technical education, law and cooperation.

Sniawbhalang Dhar, who was hitherto the public works department (roads) minister, will now be the new power, community and rural development, home (jails) and legal metrology minister.

Prestone Tynsong, who will also take charge of district council affairs, border areas development, and administrative reforms departments, will now look after the public health engineering department, which was earlier with Laloo.
