Prime Minister Narendra Modi pays homage to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev at the National Martyrs Memorial in Punjab’s Hussainiwala on Monday.

Hoardings put up by Chandigarh civic authorities to commemorate the martyrdom of the trio stirred a controversy after images of American soldiers were displayed on them.

The hoardings were pulled down following a furore. Mayor Poonam Sharma said she was trying to verify the facts and promised a probe into the faux pas. (PTI)
