Hyderabad, May 18 :     Ten-year-old Vinay hung himself in daylight. His role model was a Telugu film on television. Vinay and his family saw a film Super Monagadu starring Krishna and Ramyakrishna on Sunday evening on television. Vinay was taken with the fluency with which the villain lured his victims into the noose and hung them. In the film, three innocents are hung by the villain and the fourth, the heroine, escapes and breaks the secret. Vinay tried to make a noose with a bedsheet as in the film. He tied it the way the villain did and to test whether it really worked, Vinay tied it around his neck. This happened in the bedroom of the house while his mother was busy in the kitchen. When Vinay?s mother came out of the kitchen, she saw her son on the bed on his toes. But the diluted pupil, the tied hands and the protruding tongue told a different story. The boy been dead for over 15 minutes. Though they rushed him to hospital, it was futile.
