Aamir Ali, the man who won Nach Baliye 3 with his real-life love, actress Sanjeeda Sheikh, is back with her for yet another dance reality show — STAR Plus’s Zara Nach Ke Dikha (season 2). He tells t2 why he is back on the dance floor.

What are your expectations from the show?

My expectations have gone higher than they were before. I always expected Zara Nach Ke Dikha to be a good show which is why I am doing a dance reality show after two-and-a-half years but it has proven to be better than I expected.

What will be your exclusive contribution to your team?

My exclusive contribution to my team is dance and I will always stand by them.

How do you plan to go one-up on your opponents? By not underestimating them and giving them stiff competition. At the end of the day we are a lot stronger than them, both physically and in skill…

Your message to the competing teams?

Work hard because we want tough competition, we don’t want to win with a walkover but we want to earn our win.

Who according to you is the better dancer in your team?

Siddhesh Pai because of his training and Abhishek Awasthi.

Who according to you are the better dancers in the opposite teams?

Mukti Mohan, Sanjeeda Sheikh and... Rakhi Sawant.

Who is your favourite judge and why?

It’s too early in the show to make a selection. We will see who gives us better marks and that will be our favourite judge!
