She is doing a bachelor’s in law at University of London but acting is her “soul food”. t2 shot a bunch of questions to Bangladeshi actress Nusraat Faria who plays Samira, a tough cop who helps Jeet’s Inspector Notty on a mission in Italy, in Friday release Inspector Notty K.

What is so special about being a part of Inspector Notty K?

It is a very special film because I have learnt a lot, specially comic timing. In just two years I have done five films in India and eight in Bangladesh, which is not bad. I have grown with every film.

One thing about Jeet that you found naughty while working on this film?

Jeet is very naughty! He constantly pulls my leg and is a prankster.

What is naughty about you?

I am very naughty as a person. A couple of days ago, I woke up my family members at the crack of dawn and insisted on going out for breakfast. It was a weekday, so post-breakfast everyone had to go for work while I slept through the afternoon!

One thing you have learnt from the ups and downs of your career...

I had no godfather when I decided to become an actor. No production house backed me. I am here today because of my honesty and hard work. Initially I faced many hurdles, but I would look into the mirror and tell myself that the future would be better.

The most daring thing you have done...

Jumped from the 21st floor of a building (laughs)! It was for Boss 2. Jeet and I had to do this stunt... of course we were tied to a harness and we were assured that no accidents would happen. Though I was singing a folk song before the shot, my mom was very scared and said I should quit acting and be a barrister!

What’s the man of your dreams like?

With him around, I should feel safe. That would be my ideal man. Even if I go out of control or get totally wasted, he should make me feel safe. No, he doesn’t have to do anything to make me feel that way... I should just feel safe by looking into his eyes! And he should understand my silence... I know I sound very unreal!

And have you found him in real life?

Not yet!

One dating tip you have for the t2 readers...

To girls I would say, don’t smile too much to impress your guy. Your smile is your best weapon, so keep it for special moments! To the boys, I would say be yourself, be natural and don’t try too hard to impress.

One fashion trend you can’t stand...

Boho dresses, jewellery. I just can’t stand it. I am all for shimmer, gloss and pretty chiffons... very filmi!

Your guilty pleasure...

Guilt kills conscience. I am currently on a detox diet but whenever I crave any food, I eat it. And then I work out longer in the gym.
