Filmmaker-producer Vignesh Shivan thanked wife Nayanthara and their children for helping him “sail” through a difficult 2023 in a heartfelt note on Tuesday.
“Amidst Hundreds of Adigal , millions of midhigal 2023 was tough yet sailable cos of these two boys & My wife with her unconditional love,” the Vikram Vedha director wrote on Instagram.
Vignesh went on to mention how his and kids motivated him to stay positive. “...they jus made the house very warm filled with love and positivity with these boys’ laughter sound being the default music ! thus giving all the energy to keep progressing and working hard towards my ambitious goals !” he also wrote.
Extending his gratitude towards other family members and friends, Vignesh also thanked Pradeep Ranganatha and Nelson DilipKumar for standing by his side.
He also thanked music composer Annirudh Ravichander for composing Rathamaarey from Rajinikanth’s Jailer. “And back to #Rathamarey for this post cos this song was the best thing that happened in 2023 for me .”
2023 was a tough year for Vignesh as one of his projects, tentatively known as AK62, with Ajith Kumar got dropped due to unknown reasons. His upcoming movie Love Insurance Corporation (LIC), starring Pradeep Ranganatha, is currently in the works.
