Calcutta’s first tram-themed “restro bar and club”, Tram Deepo, has gone all vegetarian with a brand-new menu. 

The hangout at 45 Jhowtala Road, Ballygunge, opened last September with new dishes like Chunky Paneer Schezwan, Mexican Chilli Beans Quesadilla and Asparagus Risotto. So why go green? 

“We noticed that the demand for vegetarian food this side of the town was more. The locality also lacked a good lounge with DJ space serving pure vegetarian food. Our footfall has now gone up,” said Ankit Agarwal, owner of Tram Deepo. 

You can opt for IPL special combo offers based on the IPL teams like Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kings XI Punjab and Delhi Daredevils. The combo offer starts at Rs 349-plus while a meal for two in the new menu comes for Rs 800-plus.
