Television actress Leena Jumani, who made her debut in Bollywood with the multi-starrer Himmatwala as Ajay Devgn’s sister, is set to sizzle on the digital platform with Maaya 2, a web series produced by Vikram Bhatt.

Vikram’s daughter Krishna Bhatt has directed the film. Leena will share an onscreen kiss with co-star Priyal Gor.

She has done some meatier roles on television before being approached by Vikram to play the lead in Maaya 2. This would be one of the rare times that an actress will doff her hat to the LGBT community.

Krishna, after her debut with the web series The Untouchables launched on Vikram’s OTT platform VB, is set with her second instalment. Maaya, the first in the series made headlines in 2017 with Shama Sikander playing Sonia, who lives a parallel life as Maaya, a submissive partner in the world of BDSM.
