Team Bela Sheshe celebrates marriage and companionship at a sparkling evening in Bengal club. Only t2 was there

Twogether times: Amidst loud cheers, claps and wolf-whistles, eight couples from various walks of life were felicitated at Senco Gold & Diamonds presents Bela Sheshe: Bhalobashar Golpo, Bhalobashar Goyna at Bengal Club. “Since the tagline of Bela Sheshe is Bhalobashar Golpo, Senco Gold & Diamonds came forward for a tie-up with the film, adding their tagline Bhalobashar Goyna. We chose couples who are married for 10, 20, 30 and 40 years and each of our Bela Sheshe cast members felicitated them,” said Shiboprosad Mukhopadhyay, whose film is drawing in the crowds this week. Playback singers Anindya, Anupam and Somlata also crooned a song each even as the audience hummed along. “The idea is to be different. We wanted to show that a film promotion isn’t limited to music releases and trailer launches,” added ‘Shibu’. Soumitra Chatterjee, who plays the patriarch in Bela Sheshe, urged the motley crowd to watch the film, while Monami, Aparajita and Indrani were busy taking selfies and giving away autographs. “Many people ask me when I’m getting hitched. After today’s event I am sure I will tie the knot very soon!” was Monami’s parting shot.
