Untold: The Girlfriend Who Didn't Exist

Netflix released the first official trailer for Untold: The Girlfriend Who Didn’t Exist, a documentary series which unpacks the truth behind American football star Manti Te'o’s notorious girlfriend hoax.

Untold is a Netflix original sports documentary series that first released its five episodes last year. According to the streaming service, the series brings fresh eyes to epic tales from the wide world of sports.

This is one of the five episodes of the Untold Volume 2 and it tells the massive story of a hoax surrounding native Hawaiian linebacker Manti Te’o. Untold: The Girlfriend Who Didn't Exist will premier on August 16.

School Tales The Series

Netflix has released the official trailer of their new horror anthology show School Tales The Series. High school is a scary enough place already, but when you throw headless monsters, devils, and demons into the mix things reach whole new levels of terrifying.

The series is based on horror comics and brought to the screen by different Thai directors, from tales of haunted libraries to canteen food made from human flesh. From the trailer, it looks like this series is for hard-core horror fans. School Tales The Series will premiere on August 10.

Look Both Ways

Netflix has released the trailer of their upcoming original film Look Both Ways, starring Riverdale fame Lili Reinhart in the lead role. The film is helmed by Wanuri Kahiu and the screenplay is written by April Prosser. Reinhart and Alexis Rodrigues serve as executive producers.

Based on the trailer, we can expect a lighthearted rom-com that also presents some big questions as Natalie moves through her parallel lives. It teases how we will never fully know what lies ahead, regardless of the number of “what ifs” we ask ourselves.

Look Both Ways stars Danny Ramirez, Aisha Dee, David Corenswet, Andrea Savage, Luke Wilson, and Nia Long apart from Reinhart. The film will start streaming on August 17 on Netflix.
