My favourite outfit: Jeans and a nice top.
My favourite outfit when driving to a shoot: Track pants and a nice T-shirt.
My favourite outfit for evening wear: A skirt with a nice top. If it’s an award function or a really formal occasion, I love wearing saris with big borders.
I like to sleep in: Satin nighties. I have them in all colours.
I look the best in: Jeans with a plain top and saris. People say I look very young when I wear jeans and they find me classy in saris.
My favourite designers: Manish Malhotra, I love what he designed for Sakshi Tanwar in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. I also like Ritu Kumar, Anita Dongre and Satya Paul.
My favourite brand in jeans: Unfortunately, branded jeans don’t fit me well, so I have very few branded jeans. I generally buy my jeans from Provogue and Benetton. I basically pick up jeans that fit me well. I have lots of jeans in all colours.
Shopping is: A high. I am a major shopaholic. Whenever I am feeling low, I just go on a shopping spree. But when I come home, I often say to myself: ‘Why did I buy this? I did not need it!’
When I am abroad, I shop at: Bangkok , Malaysia and Singapore.
I have a fetish for: Watches. I simply love watches and I think large watches look very stylish. I have almost all the brands — Rado, Versace, Guess. I have an excellent collection of watches, in fact people turn around to have a look at the watch I am wearing.
In shoes, I like: Shoes from Charles and Keith — they give you good after-sales service.
In bags, I like: Versace, Guess, Prada.
My wardrobe is incomplete without: Belts. I need to wear a belt, whether I am wearing a skirt or jeans. I love wearing a waistband. Even when my designer is designing my jewellery for a dance performance, I tell him to design a waistband (kamarpatti) for me.
I like my man to be dressed in: Blue jeans and a nice white shirt — it looks dashing.
According to me, the best dressed people in the TV and film industry are: In the television industry, Hussain and Shveta Salve dress well. In Bollywood, I like what Hrithik Roshan wears. Sushmita Sen’s dress sense is very classy — she looks wow in whatever she wears.
My favourite perfume: Irresistible by Givenchy.
The most expensive outfit I have bought: A turquoise blue, crystal-laced sari which I had bought for Rs 48,000. I bought a Rado watch for Rs 2.45 lakh.
An inexpensive thing that I bought which I cherish: A jooti which I bought for just Rs 60. When I wear it, people can’t believe the price. It has been quite some time since I picked it up and I am still wearing it.
My favourite fabrics in saris: Net and chiffons, I love chiffons because you can drape them very well.
My shampoo and conditioner: L’Oreal.
My hair is: Long and silky.
My hair care routine: I massage my hair regularly with a mixture of olive oil, mustard oil and methi seeds. I keep the oil overnight and wash it the next morning.
My favourite hairstyle: A bun. When I go out, I like to leave it loose.
I admire the hair of: My mom. In the industry, I like Ameesha Patel’s hair.
My tip on haircare: Have a regular oil massage. Oil your hair overnight and wash it the next morning.
When I am not shooting: I don’t use make-up, I just use kajal and sometimes lip gloss. If I feel my skin is looking dull or dry, I just dab on a little moisturiser, that's it.
The feature I need to conceal while doing make-up: None. When I get my blackheads removed, the marks remain for some time; I conceal those marks.
The features I like to highlight: My eyes, I use kajal so that my eyes do not look tired even if I haven’t slept well.
My tip on make-up: According to me, a concealer is a must.
