What: Busy Bees, in association with Tarang, presents Summer Camp 2016

Where: Tarang, 102-J, Block F, New Alipore (near Bodyline Gym) and Tarang, AG Block, AMP Baisakhi Mall, 8th floor, Room no. 12-13, Sector II, Salt Lake

When: May 30 to June 4 in New Alipore; June 6-11 in Salt Lake. From 10am to noon at both centres

Age group: Four to 10 years

What to expect: Oodles of fun. Little ones can get their hands dirty at the potter’s wheel as a potter guides them to create their own pots, or nurture their green thumbs at a gardening session as a gardener helps them plant saplings. They get to play little patissiers as they design cupcakes under the guidance of Sneha Singhi at Paris Cafe, New Alipore. They can also learn some sleight-of-hand tricks from a magician. An art and craft session will have them splashing paint, making masks and more. A karaoke session and a freestyle dancing class will help them shake off inhibitions and have fun. The week wraps up with a fashion show where the kids will take the ramp in designer Medhavini Khaitan and Eshaani Jayaswal’s clothes. 

Organiser speak: “The Summer Camp is all about letting the kids have fun while they give vent to their creativity in ways they don’t get to do in their day-to-day lives or at school. These are all hands-on activities that will interest them as well as nurture their creativity,” said Joyita Bose, co-organiser of Busy Bees Summer Camp.
