You don’t quite know what to expect when an ace dancer-choreographer like Prabhudheva seeks out another pair of choreographers for his own movie. But trust Bosco-Caesar to always push the envelope. They got Aamir Khan to do Mithunda-style pelvic thrust in Delhi Belly recently and they made Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha do some sizzling moves in Prabhudheva’s Rowdy Rathore. “It’s a complete Bosco-Caesar style of choreography,” promised Caesar Gonsalves, one half of the duo, who was in town for a workshop organised by Bhavna Hemani, and Screen and Stage. In between teaching the kids a few moves at Spring Club, Caesar gave t2 a lowdown on his favourite dance numbers.

HIS TOP 10 SONGS

Nimura nimura from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. The song is technically outstanding!

Hoton pe aisi baat from Jewel Thief. The camera movements, the formations, the performances are all extraordinary.

Dola re dola from Devdas. The lethal combination of Madhuri and Aishwarya! I still can’t judge who performed better. I wish it were our song.

Saki saki from Musafir. We brought in a new style for that dance. It was a mix of Arabic belly and underground hip hop. We gave a new look to Sanjay Dutt.

Farah Khan’s title track of Kal Ho Naa Ho. It was just ‘to the tee’!

Senorita from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. It is a Spanish song. We gave styles like salsa, tango and Cha Cha Cha to it and yet maintained a very Bollywood look and feel.

Ganesh Hegde’s Criminal from Ra. One. Shah Rukh Khan’s performance in this song is superb!

Ganesh Acharya’s Chamma Chamma from China Gate. Urmila is outstanding in that song!

Farah Khan’s Sheila from Tees Maar Khan. It is extremely well executed, with the dancing, the drama and the entire feel.

My favourite and the most difficult song we have ever achieved is Yeh tara woh tara from Swades. The villagers in the background, the concept, the drama, all had to be united and we managed to do it.
