SASHTHI

Ushasie got into adda mood at the stall set up by Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt. Ltd at Bagbazar Sarbojanin Durgotsav on Sashthi.

"I really enjoy the ambience in Bagbazar. I’m originally from north Calcutta. It always makes me very nostalgic when I’m in this part of the city,” she told t2. And what about the question on everyone’s mind: The secret to healthy eating? “Have lots of water. Exercise and plan intensive workouts,” said the Byomkesh O Chiriakhana actress, who sipped on doodh cha in between. “I always take milk in my tea and I don’t consider laal cha as cha at all! I want to thank t2 and Mother Dairy for all the fun today,” she added.

SAPTAMI

On Saptami evening, actress Arunima Ghosh turned up at the Mother Dairy stall in Singhi Park Sarbojanin Durga Puja, and adda with pandal-hoppers began in no time. “I used to love going to pandals as a kid but nowadays I rarely get the chance. Whatever little time I have usually goes towards my friends and family. If there’s ever an opportunity, I’d love to go pandal-hopping again,” said the Kiriti O Kalo Bhromor actress, sipping on doodh cha.

What’s her favourite street food? “During Puja, I stop worrying about my diet and try to treat myself to my favourite street foods, especially phuchka. I love phuchka!” giggled Arunima, whose morning begins with a steaming cup of doodh cha.

ASHTAMI

At the Ballygunge Cultural Association pandal on Ashtami, fans had a meet-and-greet with Shaheb Bhattacherjee. “I love my work but I hate working during the Pujas. That’s my rest time, and I like to spend it with friends and family, or interacting with lovely people like you,” said the Double Feluda actor, at the Mother Dairy stall.

All things colourful make for a great selfie! And Shaheb’s tip for festive wear? “Whatever you wear, it better be new. I love buying new clothes for the festive season, it’s one of my favourite things to do.”
