Done in hues of silver, blue, grey and black, the 2,400sq ft space in the hotel basement now wears a fresh vibe. “After a decade’s run, this was a conscious effort to do away with the old feel of the place. So we went ahead with these colours in sync with the nightclub look to add a very contemporary and chic feel. The club is now high-tech with a new look and a great team that will take the partying experience to the next level,” said Vinay Jaiswal, director (operations), HHI Group of Hotels. The dance floor area boasts a 40ft-long bar with cray cocktails, moving heads and Ohm music system. Manning the console would be DJ Joy (above), with cramazing visuals by Wayne.

As you make your way through the screening spot be welcomed by a set of sofas serving as the ‘waiting area’ for guests. “Many times, guests do not enter till their whole gang has arrived and so this space can be for them to chill before they hit party mode!” smiled Sovan Mookherjee, heading operations and marketing of UG Reincarnated.
Turn right and a flight of stairs down, this LED flooring blinking the new ‘UG Reincarnated’ logo and 3D laser lights is bound to catch your eye. We heart a special ‘Thank you for visiting t2’ message greeting us. #Rad
Bye Onyx, say hello to Zingg — the 900sq ft private lounge with plush sofas, smoking room and a bar for 80 party peeps is just right for private parties. Thumbs-ups to the virtual laser curtain at the entrance of Zingg.
The nightclub-cum-lounge has wiped out any feel of the old space. Remember the huge island bar? That has been demolished to make a spacious dance floor with several sitting ‘pockets’ (left). We liked the one right in front of the DJ console and the one which was previously the smoking room. “I have always given priority to sitting spaces, so we have ensured there are plenty of couches for people to rest their feet and relax. Also, these sitting pockets have a space in front of them where they can dance; they need not jostle their way to the dance floor,” explained Sovan.
