What’s Jam House?
A hangout where you can enjoy some good jamming ’cause the focus is music+good vibes. “We are crazy about music but we also love to party. We’d often look for an after-party place in the city but find none. So we decided to come up with a place where people can enjoy even when nightclubs are shut,” said owners and friends Varun Baid and Aman Shukla.
This chill zone is: Near AJC Bose Road-Lord Sinha Road junction.

Can pack in: Around 80 people.
Floor plan: The 1,500sq ft space has two levels. The ground floor has music-centric decor; think cassettes, vinyl records and lyrics written on the walls. The mezzanine floor, called Level 1, is more lounge-y with dim lights and low seating.
Sing along: The ground floor has a permanent music set-up. Tune in to live band gigs on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 6pm to 9pm. Oh, you can join in for a jam session too!
Drop in: Between 11am and 4am! Yes, for a midnight snack or after-party chilling.
Pocket pinch: A meal for two will cost Rs 800-plus.
The only-vegetarian menu has some yum dishes. We loved Achari Aloo Tikka Masala, which has potatoes stuffed with cottage cheese mixed with pickles, served on a gravy with a generous portion of herbed rice.
Jam House has a dedicated hubbly bubbly menu that has everything from Spring Water and Strawberry to Teen Paan and Brain Freezer flavours. This fancy rocket hookah body caught our eye!
QUIRK BOX
Drums in the rest room? No, wait it’s a wash basin that looks like a drum set! If you love clicking loofies, you know where to be.
A wall done up with pages of music notations, while books like Treasure Island and The Clue in the Crumbling Wall turned lamp shades!
