Vijay Sethupathi’s character mistakenly kidnaps ‘Mumbai Ka Don’ Ranvir Shorey’s son, but things get complicated when others surface to claim the deed as their own in the teaser of Hindi-language action thriller film Mumbaikar.

Dropped by Jio Cinema on May 25, the 51-second-long trailer shows a gangster kidnapping the son of Mumbai’s biggest don by mistake. In the beginning Vijay’s character tells ‘Mumbai Ka Don’ Shorey that he has kidnapped his son by mistake. Later, three other youngsters led by Vikrant Massey’s character get involved in the same kidnapping, adding to the confusion about the identity of the actual kidnapper. The clip shows a Mexican standoff between all these characters.

On Thursday, Jio Cinema shared the teaser on Twitter. “Mumbai sheher, ek kidnapping aur bohot saara confusion! Kya yeh galti se hui mistake padegi sab pe bhaari? #Mumbaikar streaming from 2nd June for free, only on @JioCinema,” they wrote alongside the video.
