Did Madhubala’s ghost visit Mallika Sherawat? The plot thickened just before the release of Sanjay Chhel’s Maan Gaye Mughall-e-Azam. The crew of the film revealed that while taking a break, a stunned Mallika suddenly stepped out of her vanity van looking completely dazed. On being asked what was wrong, the actress said she had seen a vision of Madhubala in the van.

A unit member later said: “Mallika was too stunned to react! She told us that she had seen the ghost of Madhubala. It could be Mallika’s imagination too because she imagines herself to be Madhubala who had performed the song Jab pyar kiya to darna kya!”

Mallika was shooting for the spoof of Jab pyar kiya to darna kya when this incident occured on the sets of Maan Gaye Mughall-e-Azam. The song, from K. Asif’s Mughal-e-Azam, was picturised on the immortal beauty Madhubala 47 years ago. And now, Mallika is desperate to recreate that in flesh and spirit. Has RGV heard this one?
