Dev-Subhashree in Khokababu

While Dev-Subhashree’s Khokababu is still under production, the film’s producer Eskay Movies has already planned a sequel — Khoka 420, which will roll on the floors early next year.

The title is taken from one of the songs of Khokababu, directed by Shankaraiyya, which goes Khoka chaalu cheez, maal-ta puro bish, mashir galpo maa-ke byache, Khoka chaarsho bish.... Dev has done the playback for the song.

“I was bowled over when I first heard the lyrics and I decided to sing it myself,” laughs Dev. The team will shoot the song sequence on Friday.

“We have not yet decided who will direct Khoka 420, but it will be a love triangle. Dev will definitely be on board but the two heroines are yet to be confirmed. Khoka 420 will be inspired from the 2010 Telugu film Brindavanam,” revealed Himanshu Dhanuka of Eskay Movies.
