EDEN GARDENS SAW INDIA WRAP UP THE TEST SERIES AGAINST NEW ZEALAND. TAJ BENGAL SAW THE CELEBRATIONS! T2 SAMPLES THE SWEET TASTE OF SUCCESS

The moment Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin reminded Team t2 of how we behave every time there’s food in the t2 office! And every time there’s someone like Wriddhiman Saha (peeking from behind), who invariably reaches when the food is almost over!
Hours after leading India to the top of the Test world and crowning Siliguri boy Wriddhiman Saha as “India’s best wicketkeeper”, India’s Captain Hot Virat Kohli began the celebrations at Taj Bengal with Wriddhi right beside him. India wrapped up the three-match series 2-0 at Eden Gardens with a 178-run win over the Kiwis on Day 4 and vaulted to the top of the Test table, giving the perfect pre-Puja gift to Calcutta.
India’s King of Spin, then and now. Anil Kumble and Ravi Ashwin pose for a picture with Samrat Datta, general manager, Taj Bengal, and his team. “We celebrated the win with a specially crafted cake for the team. It was heartening to watch the sparkle in their eyes and the excitement as they cut and appreciated the cake. They also became the number one Test team, and it was very special for all of us and our associates to be able to share the moment with them,” said Samrat Datta.

After making wicketkeeping and batting look easy on a difficult pitch, Wriddhi cut the cake at the team hotel. The 31-year-old finished India’s 250th home Test with unbeaten knocks of 54 and 58, winning him theMan of the Match award.
The day after, Cheteshwar Pujara and wife Puja made their way to INOX (Quest) for the 1.20pm show of Pink and munched on pasta in cream sauce, margherita pizza, cheese popcorn with cappuccino. Did he take on the Kiwis at Quest? No chance, he would have been outnumbered 15:1!

HOW DID THE KIWIS CHEER UP AFTER THE EDEN TEST? MUNCH AT CHILI’S AND SHOP AT QUEST MALL
