Looking through the sunglass: Pinky Kenworthy says what’s hot and what’s not

1) While there are some basic sunglass faux pas, I don’t think people should follow rules that say what style goes with which face. Break the rules! It’s so confusing for a normal person to understand these rules!

2) I usually buy my sunglasses from London or Bangkok.

3) I love geometric shapes, oversized glasses in the ’70s style and purple frames with pink and green lenses. They look really cool. The red-and-black combination also looks good. The cat-eye style (see Nicole Ritchie above) looks great, provided you can carry it. I personally hate stones on sunglasses. It’s too bling for me. If you’re really keen on a stone-studded pair and think you’ll carry it, go for it.

4) For him: I personally don’t like men doing too much with their sunglasses. Ray-Ban Wayfarers are classic and they suit every kind of face. Aviators look good too. They come in a lot of different colours, so experiment!

5) For her: The most happening ones are the rounded lenses called Bambi glasses. These complement every face shape and are a fun pair to carry. I’ve also seen loads of men carry it off really well!
