A New Reign | House of the Dragon
HBO on Tuesday released a new promotional teaser titled A New Reign for their upcoming Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon. In this short video, we get to see some new footage from the much-anticipated show set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones.
The three-minute-18-second-long video also includes interviews with showrunners Ryan Condal and Miguel Sapochnik along with George R.R. Martin about the upcoming show. From a new Targaryen sigil to new power dynamics in Westeros, House of the Dragon will bring a new side to the much-loved world of Ice & Fire. The show is set to premiere on August 21.
Sampurna
Hoichoi has released the trailer of their upcoming series Sampurna. The series revolves around the hard-hitting issue of domestic abuse faced by women in their own households.
Sampurna is a meaningful story of a woman going against her family for the rights of her sister-in-law. Starring Sohini Sarkar, Rajnandini Paul, Anubhav Kanjilal, Prantik Banerjee, Laboni Sarkar, Rajat Ganguly, and Parometa Mukherjee, the series directed by Sayantan Ghoshal, will premiere on July 29.
Victims-Who Is Next?
SonyLIV has released the trailer of Tamil anthology Victim-Who Is Next? The show features segments directed by four filmmakers; Chimbu Deven, Rajesh M, Pa Ranjith and Venkat Prabhu.
The 1-minute-36-second-long video explores stories involving four victims and promises to be thrilling. Actors Amala Paul, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Natty, Prasanna, Thambi Ramaiah, Kalaiyarasan, Nasser, Guru Somasundaram, among others are in the show. The anthology will stream from August 5 on Sony LIV.
Tekken: Bloodline
Netflix has released the trailer of their upcoming anime Tekken: Bloodline. The famous Mishima Corporation is dropping soon with the blood feud.
The series focuses on the story that the arcade video game revolves on, especially with the Mishima family dispute. It will also center around Jin Kazama, an illegitimate son of Kazuya Mishima. Tekken: Bloodline is arriving on August 18.
Surfside Girls
Apple TV+ has released the trailer of their upcoming kids and family mystery series Surfside Girls. The show is based on the Kim Dwinell graphic novel series of the same name.
The show follows best friends Sam and Jade as they solve supernatural mysteries in their sleepy California beach town. The friends must combine their polar opposite strengths of imagination and logic in order to solve the supernatural mysteries that hide just beneath the surface of their town. Surfside Girls premieres August 19 on Apple TV+.
Rama Rao On Duty
SLV Cinemas has released the trailer of Telugu superstar Ravi Teja’s highly-anticipated action film Rama Rao On Duty. Within a day of its release, the trailer received more than 11 million views on YouTube.
Ravi Teja plays a superhero cop in this energetic trailer which has all the ingredients of a masala blockbuster. The film, written and directed by Sarath Mandava, has been bankrolled by SLV Cinemas and RT Team Works. Rama Rao On Duty will open in theatres on July 29.
