She wowed the audience as Shiuli, the sexy bar crooner, in Anjan Dutt’s Bomkesh Bakshi last year. Swastika Mukherjee will be back in the Bengali sleuth’s second outing, Abar Bomkesh as Rajani, a glamorous widow. “Rajani dresses up, she’s not the typical white sari-clad widow. She is the daughter of a tea estate owner, and she is always dressed stylishly. Rajani is quite a rebel, much like me!” winked Swastika. Chatterjee duo Abir and Saswata take a break in between shooting for Abar Bomkesh to speculate on fate and destiny before the sleuth and his assistant embark on their jungle journey next week. “We were having fun! Apuda (Saswata) was trying to read my palm and gauge whether any real-life thrills and adventures would spill over from our reel life during the next leg of our shoot, which will be in the forests of Lataguri!” laughed Abir, who plays the dhoti-clad detective in the Anjan Dutt film.
