1 Aparajita Tumi lead actress Padmapriya kept to herself, reading a book in one corner of the Upohar flat in between shots. “I play Kuhu Dasgupta in the relationship tale. It has been very hectic, so far. In San Francisco, we shot for 18-19 hours at a stretch and when we began shooting I was the only actor in the team! I had a nice experience shooting here but whether I will do another Bengali film will depend on whether I really want to do the film and not just on my experience in Aparajita Tumi,” she said, before getting back to reading!

2 Prosenjit and Padmapriya, who play husband and wife, seen here in a party sequence. “I play Pradip, a successful corporate guy with a beautiful wife and two kids. Yet, he falls for a much younger woman (Kamalinee Mukherji). My character in Aparajita Tumi has a similarity with Dosor, to a certain extent, because of the extra-marital affair angle. But in Dosor, my character was repentant, Pradip isn’t,” explained Prosenjit.

5 7 Khoon Maaf cinematographer Ranjan Palit takes a break on the sets. The team couldn’t stop gushing how comfortable he makes everyone feel on the sets. “I think they are just being kind. Of course I give the actors a lot of space,” smiled the soft-spoken Palit.

6 Soumitra at the party with Sundeep Bhutoria (who plays himself) and Kamalinee, who plays Ushashi, the other woman in Pradip’s life. “Soumitrada plays himself. In the film this particular scene is actually taking place in San Francisco where Soumitrada attends a party with everyone asking him questions about his stardom, (Satyajit) Ray connection, Feluda, and whether he had an affair with Madhabi Mukherjee after Charulata!” reveals Tony

7 The Dhan te nan guy, that’s how Chandan ‘Mikhail’ Roy Sanyal (Kaminey) was introduced to everyone. “I am finding it difficult to speak with the fake beard!” smiled Chandan, who plays Kamalinee’s husband Ronojoy in Aparajita Tumi.

8 Kamalinee, looking smashing in a sari, was awestruck by Soumitra. “Aami ekdom godo godo. I called up my parents who are holidaying in Egypt and told them I am shooting with Soumitra Chatterjee! They were thrilled!” she smiled.

9 Arpita dropped by at the shoot for a few hours. She diligently followed the monitor whenever hubby Prosenjit gave his shots.
