Aisha Sharma will make her Bollywood debut opposite John Abraham in an untitled thriller to be directed by Milap Zaveri. Aisha, younger sister of Youngistaan actress Neha Sharma, is excited about the project which will also feature Manoj Bajpayee. “I could not have asked for a better film in terms of a launch. To be able to share the frame with John Abraham as well as Manoj Bajpayee, is a huge honour and very challenging for me.”
Hollywood star Sharon Stone says she was anxious about returning to acting after overcoming health problems. The 59-year-old Basic Instinct star has been out of the spotlight for several years after suffering a stroke and brain haemorrhage in September 2001, but is currently seen in Steven Soderbergh’s TV drama Mosaic as murder victim Olivia Lake. “I lost my short-and long-term memory when I had the stroke and it took me a long time to get it back, because I had to learn to learn.”
Director Rajkumar Hirani said he would love to do a biopic of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan if given the chance. Hirani, who was speaking at the launch of How To Be Human, penned by wife Manjeet, said: “Right now, I am fine with making only one biopic (Sanjay Dutt). But who wouldn’t like to make a biopic on Aamir Khan? I would love to.” Aamir, who was also present at the launch, quipped: “My life is very boring!”
