What’s the fuzz, er, fuss
Well, if you have been living in Mars the last few years, No Shave November has become a rage among men (and some women too), while you were away! The idea is to grow awareness about prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health issues such as depression by embracing one’s hair, which many cancer patients lose. Not only does the campaign raise awareness, it also encourages the participants to donate the money which they would have otherwise spent on shaving, for an entire month, for cancer research.
What you have to do
Shave off your facial hair (if you’re fortunate enough to grow some, unlike many) on November 1 (or as soon as you read this) and let it grow wild till the end of the month. No rocket science, really.
The cause
Americans are donating at www.no-shave.org to support cancer research. If you want your no-shave to be meaningful too, donate to a cause you care about.
