Privacy. Check. Clear water. Check. Me-time. Check. High relaxation quotient. Check. A pool on the terrace is a dream-come-true situation for anyone, and the pool piqued Dev’s interest the moment he came to check out his new Aqua Home in Vedic Village Spa Resort. “I was so happy on seeing the pool. It’s so beautiful and private. You can be on your own. No one will bother you here. I might drop by over the weekends. It’s international and contemporary at the same time,” said the Tolly star. “The main thing we have here is nature, which we have provided in terms of the sloping grass roof, the garden area, and the pool... it’s water, so it’s part of nature. Here you would like to sit, relax and chill,” said Uday Modi, director, Vedic Realty.

All it takes him is “45 minutes” to drive down from his South City address to his new Aqua Home in Vedic Village and enjoy the fresh air, scenic vistas, open skies and the peace and quiet. Spread over six cottahs, Dev’s three-bedroom Aqua Home has a sloping grass roof. “It’s a fantastic property,” smiled the actor-MP.

A patch of green in your own backyard calls for, wait for it, -e-g-e--d-a-r-y barbecues in winter! The wicker chair placed bang in the middle of the garden calls out to you to just chill. And Dev did just that, stretching out and feeling all comfy and snug. “You can have your small barbecues over here, and accommodate around 50 people. There’s nothing better than seeing nature all around you,” said Uday.

“The living room area is quite compact yet spacious. When we hand over a house, we give you AC, TV, fridge, bed, bedsheets, curtains, cutlery, crockery... you just have to walk in with your clothes,” said Uday.
