Sourav Ganguly had just come back from London when t2 dropped by at his Behala residence on Saturday the 8th of July to wish the Prince of Calcutta a very happy 45th birthday. Even though he was “very tired”, a two-pound Dark Chocolate Ganache Cake, a special bake by Paris Cafe for Dada’s B-Day, brought an instant smile to his face. Wife Dona joined in for the cake-cutting.
“I was really young when he was playing, but I do remember him taking off his shirt at Lord’s! He is a true ambassador of Calcutta… our Dada! I wanted him to make a powerful statement on his special day, that’s why him in the black suit. All the elements represent different facets of Dada’s life — his cricket career, him as the CAB boss and of course the host of Dadagiri. Happy Birthday! You will always be a superstar!” was the message from Sneha Singhi of Paris Cafe.
