When: Till October 5, 7pm onwards. Event roster: Catch the action at three party zones. Head to the club lawns for disco dandiya and the AC banquet halls for traditional raas garba. For a break between beats, step into the lawn tennis-turned-food court. Savour Rajasthani chaat, Punjabi ragda and Gujarati khandvi and thepla. Check out the bangle-sellers, tarot card readers and fun games stalls at the flea market. Add to that music belted out by 18 DJs and a dance performance by Zodiac.

Star buzz: Guest celebrities like Tina Dutta (Ichcha of Uttaran fame) and Mohit Malhotra (of Splitsvilla fame) are expected.

What: Raas Dandiya 2011 partnered by t2.

Where: Netaji Indoor Stadium.

When: Till October 5, 8.30pm onwards.

Event roster: The party promises to be one big family affair. DJ Akash will get the crowd into the garba groove with traditional Gujarati and Bengali music fused with western numbers. A 30-member dandiya troupe will perform live, too. On the inaugural day, Maha-Arti of Ma Durga will be performed by 108 ladies. For refreshments, there will be food stalls serving traditional Gujarati dishes, but alcohol is off the menu. Forgot your dandiya sticks at home? Buy them from the stalls. Passes can be purchased at the stadium or from select stores across town, including Timbaktoo at Forum mall.

What: Dandiya Mahotsav 2011 partnered by t2.

Where: Swabhumi.

When: Till October 5, 8pm onwards.

Event roster: Organised by Mayank Joshi of Raghav Entertainment, the festival has been divided into two sections, disco dandiya at Rang Darbar and traditional garba and dandiya in Rang Mahal. Rest your feet at the ‘chilling zone’ where you can hang out over grub from a well-stocked food court. Passes can be picked up from Gangaur (Russell Street), Prateek Store (Kankurgachhi) and Mocha (Beckbagan).

Star buzz: Expect a live performance by Himesh Reshammiya and gang, band Sparsh and music by DJs Harish, Vicky and Yogi.

What: Dandiya Night 2011 partnered by t2.

Where: Nalban.

When: Till October 5, 7pm onwards.

Event roster: Special dandiya sticks are being brought from Rajasthan. Apart from all the dandiya fun, there will be a band performance by Muzic Mantra and music by DJ Marina from Goa. Kids can indulge in fun games and other activities. Passes are available at Cosmo World (Park Street) and Regent Store (Hatibagan and Howrah) among other places.

Star buzz: The main attractions are performances by actress Nisha Kothari on October 3, Dharmesh (of Dance India Dance fame) on October 4, and actress Sonal Chauhan on October 5.
