When the night promises you a fashion show, seven DJs, India’s Raw Star Darshan Raval and none other than the sizzling hot Sunny Leone, the crowd can only dance and say “Aaj blue hai paani, paani.. Aur din bhi sunny, sunny...”

Mood and music: Couples embraced in glee, friends high-fived and yelled while strangers rubbed shoulders for a better view of the stunner of the evening — Sunny Leone. Before the Baby Doll appeared on stage, the crowd was grooving to tracks like Feel So Close (by Calvin Harris) and Clarity (by Sia feat. Zedd). As the evening progressed, DJ Harish and team rocked the house with hits like Abhi toh party shuru hui hai, Dance Basanti, Tu meri, Jumme ki raat, Manali trance, Badtameez dil...

sip & bite: The crowd began pouring in from about 8pm and they hit the bar and food counters almost immediately, to make the most of the unlimited food and drinks that came with the entry pass. The spread was vegetarian, ranging from Kaali Dal, Naan and Roti, Kulcha and Paneer to Stir-fried Vegetables, Pulao and a live Pasta-counter. At the bar, popular Budweiser beer, whisky and vodka moved fast with Teacher’s (with soda or on the rocks), being the most-in-demand.

What she wore: Winter clothing is a natural favourite and layering seems to be in right now. Girls were sporting printed and neon-coloured blazers, bling skirts and even bowler hats. Nearly everyone put their best boot forward — from thigh-high to ankle length, suede to leather. Some were seen wearing maxi-dresses and some were wearing crop-sweaters with high-waisted pants and skirts. A beanie or two were spotted too.

What he wore: Dark-coloured woollens topped, with leather jackets coming a close second. Crew-cuts were sported by many, and some wore interesting props such as blingy Santa hats. Blazers with formal shirts tucked into skinny pants or denims with shoes ranging from boat-necked to Converse were also spotted.

organiser speak: The respond was awesome. The turnout was more than expected. More than 2,500 people came and enjoyed. Sunny Leone was the Santa for the event. Her presence was the best gift for the evening — Ravi Agarwal, partner, Buzz365 Entertainments, who organised the event coordinated by Media Connect.

t2 caught up with Sunny Leone at The Park to talk Christmas before she headed out to P.C. Chandra Gardens.

Sunny Leone with Darshan Raval

You got a BMW from hubby Daniel this Christmas! How does it feel?
It feels great. We were two people and had one car. So he gifted this car to me on Christmas Eve! It’s a beautiful car.

What’s your New Year resolution?
This year’s resolution is to be more social. We worked so hard this year that we didn’t really go out that much. So this year we are going to try and make an effort to go out a little bit more with friends.

So we will see you more on the social media?
Yeah, I am quite frequent on Twitter. I have a lot of followers. I am happy to have so many followers and feel blessed.

Plans for 2015?
You are going to see so much of Sunny, I hope you don’t get sick of me. There’s Kuch Kuch Locha Hai, Ek Paheli Leela, Mastizaade, One Night Stand and a few more. Right now I am signed for about eight movies.

Your Christmas memories?
Decorating the Christmas tree, secretly going to the tree and putting our gifts underneath, my father putting on the Christmas lights in front of the house and helping him do that, shovelling the snow when there was a snow storm. The best would be Christmas morning waking up and there is a fresh blanket of snow and everything looked amazingly perfect .. and the food.. Christmas dinner!

Your message for fans in Calcutta?
For Christmas and New Year, please be safe. Stay in your groups. Have fun and be with family and enjoy every second you have with them.
