Close friends and soon-to-be co-stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sonam Kapoor promise to fire up the Koffee with Karan episode this Sunday. The two stunners — both known to shoot from the lip — talk love and life, career and relationship and also reveal some gossip on the episode, shot before Kareena gave birth to son Taimur. Before you tune in on Sunday night (9pm on STAR World and STAR World HD), t2 gives you a sneak peek. 

BLUE-BLOODED COUPLE
Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are Bolly’s ‘it’ couple, but host Karan Johar quizzes them on their conspicuous absence from the usual Bollywood shindigs. When KJo says that Saif and Kareena have “a slightly blue-blooded attitude” that prevents them from mingling with the industry, Kareena agrees wholeheartedly, adding cheekily that this blue-blooded attitude keeps them from getting “awkwardly stuck in elevators with people”. Later in the episode, Kareena says she would rather kill herself than be in the same elevator with Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif!

PC LOVE!  
That Kareena and Priyanka Chopra have never been the best of friends is well known — and it’s not just because of a certain Shahid Kapoor. But Kareena does a U-turn on Koffee with Karan, saying that she admires the “courage and passion” that PC has displayed when it comes to her international career. Even Sonam says that she respects Priyanka “immensely”. Wow!

NO BOLLY MEN FOR SONAM
Sonam’s relationships have almost always been with men outside the industry. On the show, Anil Kapoor’s daughter states very matter-of-factly that she doesn’t want to date anyone from Bollywood, despite Karan’s earnest efforts to set her up with an eligible bachelor or two. Is that why she seems to always be dating young handsome businessmen from London, wonders KJo. Is he referring to Sonam’s rumoured beau Anand Ahuja?

RANBIR FRIENDZONED!
After their debut in Saawariya, Sonam and Ranbir Kapoor were rumoured to be a couple. And now with Kareena and Sonam being close friends and Ranbir famously single post his breakup with Katrina, Karan wonders about the possibility of Sonam dating Ranbir. It seems even Karisma Kapoor, Ranbir’s cousin, would love to have Sonam as her sister-in-law! But Sonam shoots it all down saying that she and Ranbir would make better friends.

DEEPIKA IS NOT A FRIEND: SONAM
Despite their controversial episode in Season 3 where Sonam and Deepika Padukone came together on the couch to rip Ranbir apart, Sonam says that she and Deepika aren’t friends. “I don’t know Deepika at all!” is the honest answer from Sonam.
